-Being happy
-But still missing us
-Giving a serious business speech and OWNING. I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing you give a speech so, like Jake, the image isn’t easy but based on your description my version involves you walking up to a glass podium in a large room filled with serious looking Japanese guys in suits, it’s completely silent, you say a few words I can’t understand and they stand up and clap and cheer.

All these reasons make it clear that you are indeed, my best-friend-soulmate.

For some reason I cannot muster a mental image of you giving a speech, let alone a speech in front of diplomats.
All that comes to mind is you standing at a podium, bug-eyed, staring at the crowd to see whose resolve will break first.

I think that mourning statue is for the akihabara massacre that happened a few days ago (I think it was the day after you left to San Jose), I read it about it in USA today, some guy in a truck was crashing into people and then he got out to stab like 17 people.
